Go to “Blog” on the left-hand side menu below “My Site”.
In the top right corner, click “+ Add Post”.
Start your article by giving it a title.
Now add the body text for your blogpost. For more information on editing text click here. (Link to 11.3.6)
If you would like a sample text to show on your blog page listings, then add this text into the “Excerpt” text area.

Make sure you set the post to “Published” using the status dropdown box. Making the blog post published will allow it to show up on your website.
