Sometimes candidates just aren't right for the role. Just Recruit allows you to mark them as unsuitable and record a reason why. This is important information you can extract as management information to spot any trends and is useful information to have to hand to share with clients.

 

Once in the longlist, right-click the appropriate candidate, then select ‘Mark as unsuitable’. Select the appropriate checkbox, add any notes, and click ‘Update’.

The ‘Unsuitable’ options that appear here will have been set by an admin user within Settings: Customisation > Unsuitable Types.

Once a candidate is marked as unsuitable you can no longer record actions or interviews against them for this job. You can edit the item to add or change the reasons why the candidate is unsuitable by right-clicking on the candidate and selecting ‘Edit item’. Alternatively, you can reinstate the candidate as a live candidate by right-clicking on the candidate, selecting ‘Edit item’ then check the ‘Reinstate this candidate’ box.
